TEEN V.I.P UNDER 18'S NIGHT'S THE PARENTS SECTION.
As a parent/guardian you have probably got concerns regarding your teenager attending an under 18's event.
We at TEEN V.I.P understand your concerns. Below is a list of safety measures we have in place to protect every single young adult that comes to our events.
Regardless of where our events may take place, whilst your teenager is present at our event from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, we endeavor to keep them safe.
BEFORE THE EVENT
Our TEEN V.I.P staff will work with not only the Police also other agencies such as Street Pastors and Local Business Owners. Implementing ways in which to protect these teenagers. Please be aware all of our events are held for 14-17year olds only.
Our events will be accessed by ticket only, there will be no paying on the door, this is to avoid queues and enable swift access onto the premises. Once tickets have been sold out we will announce on our social network sites. All purchased tickets we asked to be signed on the back (the largest of the 3 sections) by a parent/guardian. we also ask that the name and date of birth of the teenager are also written on the back of the ticket. This is for safeguarding purposes only and the information collected will not be shared with others.
ON THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT
Our S.I.A Security and our Well-Being Staff (all DBS screened) are outside half an hour before the doors open, to ensure added safety.
Upon entry we will search everyone, this ensures that nobody can bring anything that they shouldn't to the event. We may also random breathalyze anybody that we suspect may have consumed alcohol, we run an alcohol-free zone.
During the night our S.I.A Security along with our team of Well-Being Staff will be observing and on hand to deal with any issues that may occur. Please note that some of our venues mann live feed CCTV, that enable us to watch and record.
At the end of the night our S.I.A Security alongside our Well Being Staff will be outside to ensure added protection. We advise that parents, guardians or carers, bring and collect their teenagers to and from the event.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TEENAGER IS REFUSED OR DENIED ENTRY?
Firstly we will ensure that your teenager is safe. Not being allowed in or being removed could be a scary experience for a minor.
We would ask the teenager to contact their parent/guardian, we have phones they could use,
if this is not possible, we will liaise with their friends to see if we can make contact with a responsible adult. Again if this is not an option we will have no choice but to contact the police, this does not mean that they are in trouble, we just want them to get home safe.
WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR THE EVENTS?
NO drugs, NO alcohol, NO drink or food of any kind to be taken into the venue, NO hats of any kind and NO chewing gum. Non-alcoholic drinks will be sold at the venue.
CAN MY TEENAGER LEAVE AT ANY POINT?
We don't allow teenagers to leave and come back in. However, if they are leaving and parents/guardians have instructed them to leave, they will be then free to go. We can only take responsibility for your teenager, whilst they attend our event.
We can not take responsibility for your teenager before they arrive or after they have left the event.
WHAT I.D DO WE ACCEPT?
Passport, birth certificate (copies will do) driving license plus 16, My I.D CARD, B-line card.
Please note, if your teenager looks younger than 14 or older than 17 they will be questioned and I.D'd. Failure to provide will result in non-entry to the venue. We can call parents or guardians if they do not have any I.D to confirm their age.
